Luana Hanson Interiors are an interior design practice based in Richmond upon Thames. We provide a warm informal experience to help you create a unique, bespoke environment. We service both residential and commercial clients. We offer everything from a Full Design Package, including Project Managing to selecting a single chair or rug to enhance and transform a room. Our innovative and creative design team work very closely with clients to fully engage and understand their requirements, style and desires. Our clients enjoy exclusivity and the results consistently exceed expectations. We aim to provide practical, affordable, individual design solutions. The end result being a reflection of the client’s taste and personality.

Company background

Luana Hanson created Luana Hanson Interiors after 24 years as a Production Designer on numerous films, TV dramas, commercials and pop promos. She achieved a BA (Hons) First Class with distinction in Fashion & Textiles. Then spent the following two years working as an Events Designer at Westway Studio, London and an Interior Designer for Beacontree Properties in Knightsbridge, London. She designed numerous events and residential houses in Knightsbridge along with an apartment block in Bayswater before commencing an MA (Hons) at The Royal College of Art in Design for Film. After graduating with Distinction Luana went on to achieve phenomenal success as a Production Designer. She designed four projects that all achieved BAFTA success. She has worked closely with many directors and actors: Gary Oldman, Hugh Jackman, Ray Winston, Taylor Hackford, Brendan Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Michael Gambon, Kathy Burke, Julie Walters, Joely Richardson, David Morissey, Olivia Coleman, Sheridan Smith, Timothy Spall, Oliver Reed, Richard Harris, Felicity Kendall to name just a few. Designing sets and the overall “look” for films and Tv dramas has taken Luana to 18 different countries, all offering their own challenges and excitement.

Each project being totally individual and ranging from the 16th Century through to present day. In the past few years Luana’s skills and knowledge have been transferred back to Interior Design at Luana Hanson Interiors where she continues with her team to create innovative, exclusive environments for clients in this country and abroad.
